Pros

There is great prestige in working for PWC. They do take internal training seriously. You get exposure to a diversified client base and there are great opportunities to do lateral transfers and some upward growth. The opportunity exists to use your training and savvy to make the process better.. they do allow you to use your gifts and talents to the full.

Cons

There is a great lack of diversity. There also is the old boys club mentality there. During my tenure they had diversity training classes which openly admit there being problems in this area. The pay is good but not great until you reach upper echelons which has a glass ceiling for certain demographs.

Pros

Great place to start a career. Almost every company out there requires Big 4 experience. PwC is a great place to get this.

Cons

Complicated/convoluted advancement program, generally unrealistic management goals, and less pay than other Big 4 firms. People tend to get promoted for unknown reasons in the firm. Management utilization goals are generally far out of reach in trying to maintain a Work/Life balance.
