Pros

- Competitive salaries (although they froze pay rises) - Decent benefits (but reducing every year) - Most colleagues are wonderful

Cons

- Company culture has completely changed - Office presence mandated with wi-fi checks to ensure compliance - Frequent layoffs, over 10% of the company let go 3 times in 18 months - Morale is extremely low, people are terrified of losing their jobs - Career progression almost impossible unless you know the right people - Bad performance in the market, product has no unique differentiator - C Suite changes their mind every month or so

Pros

* Good compensation * Working with some amazing colleagues * Good work/life balance * Plenty to learn * Some fully-remote roles, otherwise hybrid 2-3 days/week (depends on department) * People are helpful and friendly

Cons

* Performance Review process (PGC) is poor. Time-consuming for ICs, even more so for management, and feels like there is a quota for "below expectations" reviews. * RTO for office-based roles was poorly handled and communicated, and has seriously damaged morale. * Focus is primarily on delivery, quality is an afterthought * Mandatory AI usage * Incidents weekly, management cannot understand that shipping features as fast as possible is a major contributor. * Major layoffs 2024 and 2025, will 2026 be different? * No merit-based pay raises in 2025, plus other benefits being cut * Hiring is semi-frozen, expected to do more with less * Rotating cast of managers - some people have had 5 or more managers in the space of a couple of years.
