      Exactly what I was looking for

      Pros

      From a perfect interview / recruiting process, to a notably good preparation in the time leading up to my first day of work, to the onboarding process over the first 5 months, I have not regretted my decision to join one of the most exciting German tech startups so far and can encourage you to consider working for Personio! I would give the experience a 4.5 out of 5 so far.

      Cons

      When a company grows (so) fast, of course not everything always goes smoothly - but I have always felt listened to and supported and working with really great and passionate colleagues made it easy to put hiccups into perspective.

      Personio is a stereotypical US company now

      Pros

      Great colleagues, very flexible hybrid working and a great office.

      Cons

      Recently a senior leader from a large US Tech Company joined and the company is having a cultural crisis. There is a lot of forcing of US ways of doing things, and many new senior hires all from the same company. All of a sudden Personio is very corporate and we are now just numbers in a spreadsheet rather than the people who built Personio. Lots of people have simply disappeared without any notice, or any communication around why they left. Some of these people are literally the founding members of the company, and when they reach out to the Founders to talk are just ignored. It feels like we are in a process of cleaning out all of the old people to make room for the new. I don’t recommend joining Personio in the next 6 to 12 months. Wait and see if things calm down and the good culture returns.

      Great company for designers

      Pros

      Since I joined I felt Personio have a great culture and on top of that a digital product culture. The focus on developing great products is visible and very oriented for facts and data. As a designer I have a lot of autonomy and also support from other designers on my team and throughout the company, which hire great talents.

      Cons

      There are constant changes, which is normal for a company like Personio, so it's not really "Cons" but it could be a challenge depending on the person's profile.
