Amazing peers that are always there to help you.

Let me tell you why they do not follow their values: TRANSPARENCY: They are firing people before the end of probation without warnings or relevant reasons. Some people have been fired for not hitting their quota and others for “ bad attitude”. OWNERSHIP: At the beginning, taking ownership of your job was seen in a very positive way, such as helping other teams and suggest new ways of approaching the markets. They started to change a lot of sales process form one day to another when the management changed, they hired people without any experience in sales and management positions starting to say what you had to do and how, giving the priority to the process and not to the outcome or their employees, starting to treat us like robot. We had to execute and not ask anything, all the people questioning anything with respect or giving a constructive feedback got fired. CUSTOMER EMPATHY: With the new sales process we were forced to contact the same list of accounts since it was limited to a certain number, we couldn’t do anymore a personalized nurturing of our prospects since no one had time do it cause we had to go massive and contact the same accounts over and over. This led us to have unsatisfied prospects, complaining about us and how cheap it was our sales approach. TEAM-SPIRIT/ FUN: At the beginning working at Personio was a lot of fun, I can say that I’m glad to have met amazing peers and some of them are now my best friends. They were always positive and supportive and they knew how to have fun! All of a sudden the environment changed, the office became like Wolf of Wall Street (with poor commissions). All the sales were stressed out and calling all day long, it seemed to be working for a call center.

For example, we’ve been working on a transparent new process with regular check-in meetings to ensure each teammate is synced and has clear communication with their team leads. Pros

The culture is really good, the people are amazing and really make the company what it is.

Cons

If you're looking for a 5-month contract then this is the job for you, They let nearly all their sales reps go after 'probation' giving no warnings beforehand, this is after giving you unrealistic targets that not even the managers think is achievable. They are very behind with processes, which is understandable for a start-up but they don't listen to the employees who are actually doing the work. They lie to you in the interview about 'everyone' reaching and achieving their targets which really doesn't happen. Their salary really isn't aligned with other SDR/BDR roles around Dublin even with the OTE, which if you're not hitting target doesn't happen. They tell you there is room for growth but will only promote you if they need to fill a space and not because you actually worked for it.
