Pros

Personio is on a massive trajectory - and managed to keep everyone engaged & excited about it! Hanno, the CEO & co-founder, is open & honest while being ambitious - a rare mix imo. He's also hiring executives from top-level companies (= outside of Germany / Europe) to bring in people who've "done it successfully already". Personio is paying well with lots of benefits. Colleagues are great, mix is shifting a bit to more experienced people (which is good & was necessary). Product, Engineering & Design really have a seat at the table - which again is rare for European companies.

Cons

Hope there was some learning around not-ideal communication by C-level back in Q4. Still quite a few junior colleagues who are leaning how to work effectively & efficiently - but it makes for a good mix.

Still start-upy in some aspects

Pros

- Decent salary/holidays/growth options - Plenty of power given to employees to decide on their priorities - Seemingly diverse culture

Cons

- Some processes are still undefined or unclear (and employees are made responsible for not complying with them) - Because you have to define your own priorities (not enough support from managers), you end up with lots of projects and working overtime - Germany (and specifically Munich) centered in spite of having employees in various locations, remote employees situation is an afterthought - Currently changing management layer and getting people from the US, a potentially worrying trend
