      Pros

      if you have a good manager you can get a lot of recognition for hard work opportunities to learn and grow career

      Cons

      money always seems to be tight. lay people off every year can sometimes have a heavy workload, but if you are up for the challenge this isn't necessarily a bad thing

      A good midsize software company. Great leadership, but weak middle management.

      Pros

      Good work-life balance. Great co-workers. An executive team that knows what they're doing.

      Cons

      Limited advancement potential. Executives are very smart and have a good vision. Middle managers can range from decent to incompetent.

      Pros

      Depending on manager, flexible schedule can be approved. Standard decent benefits. Company Gym.

      Cons

      No room to grow unless you are one of the “people”. Company known for major layoffs, in case it’s in crunch for money: some getting laid-off while others get promoted. After few layoffs organization was left with “skeleton” of departments. Workload doubled with no compensation. For few years there were no annual raises. Weak Human Resource; employee cannot count on HR if there are differences between manager and employee. HR sides with managers. No loyalty to the employees.
