As everyone says - nepotism and favoritism is rampant. Promotions (with 6-7 figure bonuses) handed out like candy at SVP/DVP/EVP level to the inner circle. If you have the right last name you are golden.
Everyone else gets left to rot. Massive layoff this year letting go many of the people who built the company from the ground up go.
After a 6 month delay we got small raises, but they conveniently cut stock compensation the same amount so its a wash. Execs pay lip service to increases but really gave zero.
You can have a 10+ year record of star reviews and deliver on every goal, doing innovative technical things that provide real benefit to the bottom line, but then get passed over for promotion. Meanwhile the supporting roles that dont direct impact product delivery and revenue get promotion after promotion.
The result is that those of us left are massively overworked and see no incentive to want to do great things.
