      Great place to work, if you can survive frequent layoffs and ride the waves of upper management's shifting whims.

      Pros

      Flexible work schedule; lots of opportunity to work remotely; generous vacation/PTO policy (if you stay/survive at the company long enough to reach the higher PTO levels.)

      Cons

      Frequent layoffs. Constantly shifting upper management focus. (Management chases market trends whimsically, to the detriment of its core product areas.) The MCAD (and increasingly also Windchill) product areas are used as cash cows. Work/life balance makes it hard to use all your available PTO.

      Pros

      The work culture is very good in the Tech Support organization.The primary task is to resolve customer calls, which enables you to learn the Windchill product as a whole.

      Cons

      Being a parent company for Windchill development, the growth is slow in PTC India Office. The US office is exactly opposite to this, there are plenty of opportunity available, in a very shot span of your career.

      Pros

      Many really smart people/SW developers. Nice, comfortable campus (offices, cafeteria, garage, gym), good location (at the edge of big park).

      Cons

      Salaries below industry average. No sense the upper management cares about Co.future and peoples involvement.
