Pros

A wonderful defensive industry to work in, which provides resistance against financial crisis (it's food crops supporting industry, no matter the turmoil of global finance, this industry will be safe & cash-rich). Brand awareness is also significantly strong, where the product already sell itself without that much effort.

Cons

It adopts international operating-synergy approach instead of adopting strategic-synergy value, resulted in operational nitty-gritty activity are too centralized to Home Country instead of decentralized in the Host Country. Thus, any decision-making process for even a less-important but circumstancially-urgent requests (such as new-hiring for low staff) has to be approved by a restrictive HQ. Furthermore, it has less balance treatment between profit center department and cost center department.
