      Sweat shop.

      Pros

      Good Compensation. Lunch and Dinner (almost free) Food is typically $5.50 and Nvidia pays $5.0 Its easy to work from home since it is a email culture.

      Cons

      Working weekends. Too much of email and less interaction. AT the mercy of market forces so lot of projects are cancelled. Good work is tend to be given to young people and grunt work to experienced people.

      Pros

      Technical expertise. Nice facilities and cafeteria. Good attitude for doing what is necessary to get products designed and working. Workers have much independence for getting their jobs done and using their initiative.

      Cons

      Complex technology requires much work for development so there is a need for long extra hours.

      Pros

      The people / employees (my non-management), the groups, the networks you can create. The fact that everyone talks straight and doesn't beat around the bushes. The free fruit in the mornings. The fact that there aren't so many meetings that are a complete waste of time. The fact that you can check your email and facebook as long as you do your work. The fact that people actually listen to you and you can start your own projects. The fact that it's located right next to all your friends from Yahoo, Google, Motorolla, Sun, and what not. I also really liked the area on the inside of the campus where you can just come and relax and work away from the office.
