Pros

Its Facebook - 1.3billion users $MM are the norm Some good people

Cons

A lot of bad people - huge amount of hype aout hiring the best, but rarely is the truth. A lot of arrogant people MASSIVE gap between Eng/Prod and the "rest" Remote offices are give no autonomy. Smart people doing a lot of crap work Short sighted around careers Inexperienced at exec level in particular.

Do "lean in"...as long as it isn't at Facebook.

Pros

People think you work for a great company.

Cons

not as open culture as people might think, very hierarcial, no support from management or HR if you disagree. You have to suck up to the right people and play a "game" if you want to succeed and get support for your career development at Facebook.

Pros

- Energizing mission to connect the world - Great business outlook - Perks (but only in large offices like Menlo Park, Dublin, Sao Paulo) - Still keeps some of its original hacker culture - Great CEO

Cons

- Can be very messy - Limited career opportunities outside of sales - Extreme differences in perks and compensation between HQ and international offices - High workload not matched by compensation
