Pros

Good work-life balance. Being a product based company, the release plans are known well ahead and go as planned, making it stress-free. Good people to work with ( in terms of knowledge and attitude).

Cons

Whatever you learn will be mostly related to legacy code (unless you work on a new project from scratch). Haven't learnt much apart from that.

Pros

Work Life Balance is great! Friendly and helpful staff. You can reach out to anyone. Great opportunities for ECE+CS background people.

Cons

EDG which is a great program in MathWorks ruined by Indian EDG culture. Should understand that there is a difference between a support person and a technical support person. EDG is a bad program in india. It works for very few people. Very old code base. Not too intuitive to understand either. Old technologies used. Poor wfh culture. Although its not easy but it could be adapted. Not many perks. Just a few. No extra curricular activities like tournaments, games, etc. Could be a little boring.

Pros

The offices are very nice.

Cons

Job descriptions are deceiving for EDG. EDG is actually just a technical support job with very little opportunity for engineering work. Technical support in EDG causes immense anxiety because of the non-stop phone calls with incredibly demanding clients. Very bad management in EDG. They lie and actively prevent employees from moving out of the program. The rest of the company uses members of EDG for free work without allowing EDG members to join engineering teams. EDG is a cesspool for new college graduates and will waste your time.
