Pros

Strong team-building and focus on developing great products/solutions for customers. Nice workplace and intelligent coworkers make this a fun place to work. Private company in charge of own destiny (not shareholder driven)

Cons

Company heavily focuses on internal communications, which is positive, but sometimes leads to missed opportunities to listen to customers. Tendency to take too long to make decisions. Strange career development path in many areas of company. Come in at high salary level otherwise you're stuck.

Pros

Good CEO, company cares about the employees. summer/winter celebrations. Free cookies, breakfast. You need to be in the right team to have a good work life balance.

Cons

Company does not hire managers from outside, they just promote candidates to mangerial level. They just don't know how to manage their reportees. Very few people managers are good at their job. Release engineers are jokers in the company. Managers just hire fresh graduates who does not know any thing about the position and make them just act as Quality Analyst. No career path. Crazy work hours is a norm in the team. So called Mangers think they know everything and they just don't care about the people under them.
