Not a bad company to work for but could be so much better

Encourages mobility, good training, varied projects, travel opportunities

Cons

Antiquated manufacturing processes impacts delivery. Too many functional managers not adding real value to projects and always a distraction in order to justify their jobs. Processes are really slow and consequently takes ages to get anything done. Some individuals get career fast tracked and haven't delivered anything consistently but are natural politicians / talkers and don't really understand nuts & bolts engineering...and you'll end up working for them!

Flexible working arrangement, good canteen, intellectually stimulating work, good pension, and they throw training at you

Cons

Changing working practices is hard - some of the ways we work are archaic Underpaid for the industry - a grad in the centre of town can get 40K and I'm here with 20 years experience for just over 25% more?
