Pros

Flexible working with regards to hours and location (role dependent). Opportunities for career development in areas and roles I'd have never considered. Many excellent support networks. Great on-site facilities and subsidised catering.

Cons

Promotions are hard to come by unless you change function or leave the company altogether (sometimes feel there isn't the commitment to keep employees?) but they are possible, just frustrating when you can see inconsistency across levels / grades. I could get paid higher elsewhere, however the sum of all the additional benefits are definitely worth taking into account.

MBDA is large and diverse enough to have a long and successful career with just one employer. MBDA's policies and conduct towards staff is excellent, creating a working environment that is genuinely attractive. WFH and flexible hours is enabled.

Cons

Because staff tend to stay with the company for long, long periods - MBDA can be slow to implement changes.

Pros

Great company to work for, some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The work is varied and challenging, lots of different roles and opportunities. The Dynamic Working policy works how it should do, and there is proper worklife balance. It is a very family friendly place to work.

Cons

On-boarding takes a little while, although this is to be expected for a larger company.
