Forward looking employer with good benefits but challenges with staff retainment

Pros

Good flexitime and benefits as well as being happy to pay overtime for extra hours. Lots of technical or management work depending on what you're looking for. Good annual bonus.

Cons

The pay structure is unclear and it is hard to get a straight answer about how pay is calculated. You are judged against a bell curve so this can make it hard to get good scores just because there are others who are performing well above their grade (I.e. Should have been promoted). It is hard to establish what the procedure is for promotion.

Pros

Great employee benefits. Great Colleagues and working environment. Good level of performance feedback and considerable options for career development and growth.

Cons

Often hampered by company process, product development still following waterfall model. Product line and turn around is slow and can be frustrating at times. Often v. high hours (role dependant).

The opportunity to work: 1) with great technology; 2) with great people; 3) autonomously; 4) and build a career. The atmosphere is such that you can produce your best work. The company helps people to become the best version of themselves.

Cons

There are challenges associated with working here, as with any company, but if you have a good attitude, these challenges can be overcome!
