Not great honestly

Pros

Good work life balance, the feeling is that if you want to coast or work really hard I think there is the option to accommodate both here.

Cons

Most line managers didn't know how to manage people in the slightest, many had only got the position by being at the company for 20 years. It didn't feel like there were good opportunities for bright young people to be given responsibility and go do good work. Projects are slow, responsibility is low, and I left with the impression that not many people there really liked their job.

Flexible working, good team and interesting work. Easy to progress fast if you are driven. Plenty of benefits.

Cons

Difficult to make change. Upper management move slow and lose good people and opportunities
