      Pros

      - Fast recruitment process, easy to engage with the HR team and get updates - Friendly environment, the team is very welcoming and helpful - Treated with respect and like an adult - A lot of different and interesting projects to work on - Stevenage site is really nice - Dynamic working is great, helps with the work/life balance Overall loving the experience and enjoying the role.

      Cons

      - Some processes are complicated, unclear or unnecessarily lengthy as a new starter. For example getting a lab coat which is required for the role takes over a month... - Lab space is inadequte and isn't managed properly - Projects can be slow with very long timelines - Lower pay compared to the industry, little pay improvement with progression, benefits are okay

      A genuinely wonderful place to work

      Pros

      - Truly treated like an adult and trusted to manage your own time. - A fantastic culture and group of people. - Interesting and varied work. - Excellent career progression opportunities. - Quick recruitment process compared to some others. - A genuine belief in the importance of employee welfare, mental health, and wellbeing (and how it affects retention).

      Cons

      - Some learning has been entirely self-generated due to lack of official training (still doable).

      Loving my Time at MBDA so Far

      Pros

      Very pragmatic approach to remote working (Dynamic working), they treat you as adults and trust that you will work at the correct place to get your work done. The Team are great and very welcoming, The first day is full of inductions and meeting people and it was great to immediately put names to faces. Also the work content is really interesting for me being in a new field, I can see myself being at MBDA for a considerable amount of time in my career if everything keeps going on these tracks.

      Cons

      Can be a bit slow to get up and running in the first couple of weeks, but this is to be expected when being onboarded to projects.
