Great Culture and Flexible Working

Pros

Very flexible attitude to how and where I work - am able to work from home most days and take time to drop off / pick up the kids. This will depend on the type of work being done but I personally haven't had any issues when asking for flexibility. Opportunity to move between projects is handy and the whole company has a welcoming atmosphere and willingness to help new starters get stuck in.

Cons

Pay and benefits could be better, but this is largely offset by the availability of flexible working.

Great environment and opportunities

Pros

Decent pay, a lot of nice people to work with and the on site canteen and coffee shops. I am also given a lot of really interesting and challenging work (which i love). A lot of opportunity to travel if you want to.

Cons

Few meaningful benefits (such as local discounts etc) the benefits system i generally find doesn't apply to things I would use it for. Very slow paced. An overwhelming amount of information available which is hard to know what you don't know.

Pros

MBDA provides a set of strategic behaviours, products, and services into the Defence Market. MBDA prides it self on flexible working for the majority of its employees. The work life balance has been a huge helps to me becoming a new first time mum. Everyone is encouraged to work towards Service outcomes and Goals as set by each program and each employee is feels empowered to deliver.

Cons

The company’s IT equipment and applications would benefit from modern technology available within the Industry market. Collaboration in secure cloud environments would be advantageous.
