      I joined Lightspeed a few months ago and so far, the experience has been great. Very friendly people, great culture. Fun atmosphere, even in this virtual work environment. Regular energetic communications from leadership that feel genuine - management really seems to care about us as individuals, as well as our customers. Pros: - Competitive salaries - Equity (RSUs) for all employees - 5 weeks vacation for everyone and management encourages you to use it! - A wide variety of benefits and perks - No layoffs and no salary cuts during covid-19. In fact Lightspeed supported both their employees and customers by issuing two monetary bonuses to employees bonuses designed specifically to be spent at Lightspeed customers. - Top quality equipment provided for employees (Macbook and accessories) plus an employee swag kit - Exciting business opportunities and huge growth potential both individually as an employe and for the business

      Cons

      - Inter-team communication could be improved. More sharing of knowledge and learning from each other. - Some teams have a lot of technical debt but everyone seems interested in investing to pay it down.
