Pros

Retail business as a whole is doing better. Job security is guaranteed in the medium and long range provided you are a hard worker.

Cons

No work Life balance at all. Excruciating hours of work. Chances of growth very rare.

Pros

good for a short term role to get some office experience (very popular with native germans or german graduates from english uni's) and then move on!

Cons

- terrible pay, you can do much better else where. - incredibly high turnover of staff (roughly one member of staff leaving per month on average) - management are unorganised, useless at making decisions and hire staff with no office experience or who are interested in only hanging around for 6 months before leaving. - managers do not motivate staff or offer positive feedback leaving staff feeling undervalued.
