Pros

The office is new and modern. Otherwise, the only other pro is if you are fresh out of college, don't care about developing any good professional skills and want to advance quickly (if you are in certain areas).

Cons

Be careful with the Pro about getting in and advancing quickly. You will either need to stay with the company your whole life or other organizations will not hire you because they will see through the too quick advancement. And you may not ever get past Director level as that seems to be reserved for Europeans. All European upper management from VP up. They do not appreciate or care to adopt US work cultures or regulations. When a European does not perform they replace them with another European, somehow hoping that they will understand the US environment and perform better. It rarely works and can create a constant cycle of turmoil! There is very high turnover of US employees, due to many factors: -insane hours -irrational, aggressive and/or unknowledgeable upper management who create a toxic work environment -unsound business strategies, etc. There are situations of favoritism or the other end of the spectrum. I have never been in an organization where so many people were fired with no warnings or what seems to be little foundation for the firing - they just disappear!

Pros

401K matching and paid time off that is highly encouraged to take. Could be a good place to work if you can hold on through difficult "growth" period of company.

Cons

Toxic culture promoting fear, lack of transparency, encourages suck-up mentality to get places, can mislead/double back on word and job descriptions are not accurate.

Pros

+Decent pay for a retail position. +4-6 weeks of annual paid holiday. +Sick pay scheme (around 10-12 days).

Cons

-50+ hour working week for management roles. -Unpaid breaks. -Terrible work/life balance. One day you might be working in the morning and the next closing the store until just before midnight. -Your experience will vary A LOT depending on which store you reside in. Store managers can make your life hell. -A lot of behind the scenes corner cutting and favoritism by the store management.
