Pros

NONE Not one. There is nothing about this company that is good.

Cons

They work you like slaves with unsafe working practices, but if they catch you they will write you up. They instruct their employees to damage items and try to cover them up the best way possible. Everyday they have a meeting, complaining about the damages but yet want you to work faster each day. They complain all day long, if you like working like a Foreigner, go for it. If not and deserve respect. Stay away..

Pros

Colleagues at my level are nice, helpful and treat one another with respects. Get to learn quite a bit about the products that LGE manufactures which will be helpful for your future when you see opportunities in other companies of the same or similar industry. There are free courses from the HQ that might be helpful to increase your knowledge and exposure.

Cons

Certain mid-level managers to director level people are just not leaders. They have no management quality and skills enough to lead their teams. Some are often venting their frustration and anger on their subordinates when they are the ones at fault for not organizing the work well for the teams. This is a top down problem which LG has to resolve soon before it's too late. Working sooo late and even burning your weekends doesn't mean the company can benefit more and make greater profit. This is efficiency. They should come out with more effective methods to improve efficiency in their work flow. Their business should build on what they are strong in rather than wasting time, resources and money on some products that they cannot compete well in the market. Their directors and senior management should not use what the situation in Korea as a benchmark for other countries. Yes LG is a Korean company but if it is to operate and sell to global markets, it should change to localize in each market overseas. Stop the mindset of working late means hardworking. This is nonsense. Forcing yourself to stay awake when you are exhausted is not going to make you hardworking but simply making yourself stupid. People should be treated with respects, regardless of nationality, position and gender.
