      Don't join Leoni's Trainee Program in Egypt

      Pros

      People are helpful and kind. (They are the best thing about the company) Many opportunities to do a lot of work and work on great projects.

      Cons

      As a trainee(outsource), your chances of being hired in source are pretty low. You almost don't learn anything and spend most of your time at work on paperwork and daily management. Management is terrible. You're lucky if you get a good mentor to show you the robes. Salary is pretty low. (It is the same for all trainees)

      Thank you for sharing your experience with LEONI’s Trainee Program. We value your feedback and take it seriously. We understand your concern about limited in-source hiring. However, our program has been quite successful—many trainees from 2023 and 2024 were hired in various departments, including two in operational excellence this year. Success stories are available on our Egyptian website under Career Starters. While administrative tasks are part of the Opex role, we aim to balance these with engaging projects. The skills developed through these tasks are vital to understanding our operations.
