There is a career path that is specific and understood. If you want a job to devote yourself to, a big-four accounting firm career will give you that chance.

Cons

No matter how hard the firms try, getting work life balance right is hard. Understand that it is your responsibility as well as your employer to make sure you get the balance you need.

good opportunities, albeit pyramid structure. people largely happy although there is always a portion who have the desire to seek opportunities elsewhere

limited opps for juniors, same old thing day in day out. slow technology. not as advanced as competitors like pwc or deloite
