Toxic culture

Pros

The option to buy shares

Cons

The culture is toxic. Nepotism is encouraged and if it’s brought up then the person noticing it it’s attacked. The concerns were brought up to higher management about nepotism (a project went down because mother, daughter and another sister and brother were assigned to work on it). When things went bad “conflict of interest” was obvious and when told, the manager only said “we don’t talk about this, this can’t be said”. The acceptance rate after the employee survey was less than 40% for 2nd year in a row. Management wants to understand what’s wrong although even if told, nothing happens. HR was involved although nothing was done (they just reported to the same manager). People are sick and tired of being passed on from promotions, not getting opportunities because of nepotism. You should not allow family members to work in the same team and under the same director. Also, if they work in different departments do not assign them to the same project because… “CONFLICT OF INTEREST”

Pros

Benefits, co-workers, hybrid workplace, mon-fri,

Cons

1. They say that you have to be in a role for one year minimum and then you can apply for another role in the company. But that is a lie 100%. If anyone tells you that, ask people around if that is true, ask people who really changed their roles within 6 months because they knew other people in the company. Management has their favorites. 2. Unrealistic goals, no cap on claims, every other day an adjuster would quit and their claims get reassigned just because no one cares. 3. Training for adjuster sucks! They do the bare minimum, read slides and you’re all set. Throw you on the floor, give you first week with one or two claims to help you get started with, like that would help new hires to achieve something? 4. Everyone is burnt out, and managers would say- you know everyone is handling the same amount if claims so stop complaining. 5. Frequent management changes. By the time your build your rapport with one manager, you will be thrown to someone else’s team. 6. Everyone in the office, including senior management keeps bragging about how much money does intact have. “If intact has so much money, why not invest in employees, why not hire more people so that the work can be managed and people don’t burn out. Why not spend more time in training so that new hires can learn and practice more. Why not everyone work together and find loop holes in the inconsistent training program? And why not ask your managers to shut up about the money intact has because no one cares. If you cannot care about your employees and if you only treat then as your slaves, guess what, no one will stay loyal to you. Do better!

Pros

Only pros are Benefits and bonus

Cons

Oh where should I start. They hire without understanding the responsibility for a role and expect you to do everything.they want u to be jack of all trades. They want a functional guy to be a technical architect. The leaders are egotist. This is the first company in my experience that doesn't like spending on employees training. The process and expectations are not set and expect you to make wonders. There is no proper KT plan for new members. They cannot set the basic goal setting and expect you to do everything while the leaders can relax. You cannot go to your leader with a question.
