Pros

Learning opportunities for college students Co op

Cons

I am working there for more than 3 years Cloud engineering team is the worst. If you want ruined work life balance, work 60 hours a week and miss your free weekend and family leisure time go at Ingram Micro. If you want work under micro management which even spy at your monitors by meeting room camera, go at Ingram Micro. If you want very low level compensation and only 1 percent of your salary as bounce at the end of the year, go Ingram Micro. No job security and teamwork

Pros

My coworkers are awesome. My job is interesting. I like my boss.

Cons

The executives don't care about the people or the company only their stock options. This is a "good ol'boy company" so if you are not in the club you will not advance. Company is not progressive and the work environment is awful. The sweat shop/call center environment prevents work from getting done. Telecommuting is frowned upon. Salary is crap. Raises were less than 2% last year. This used to be a good place to work. Now I am hoping they fire us all when the sale goes through so I can get a package.

Pros

The biggest pro of working at IM is their size which created opportunity for upward movement in a former time period.

Cons

They have undergone 3 Reduction in Force programs in less than 2 years which has eliminated a lot of jobs. The associates who are still employed are doing the work of more than one person. It is referred to as Optimization
