Good Senior Management Good Team members Decent Pay at Onsite

Poor Planning and Project Management, Some of the middle mgmt lacks utter professionalism and runs project as if they are doing a academic project. Very bad in client expectations mgmt and makes the poor employees to slog to meet unjust expecations of client wihtout even billing for overtime. So nil work life balance and the poor freshers who work 24/7 to please their managers are projected as the role models. In short heaven for managers who have poor technical skills and enjoy talking and writing mails and attending meetings... Leaves are not carried forward and expires at the end of financial year and there will be so much work pressure that you are not allowed to take leave. Different IBU mgmt fight among each other in executing the project thus making the lower rung employees to suffer more.

Their Salary(CTC) and the brand name,thats what inspired me to join INFY.Later I realised I have fallen into trap with this gimmicks.Their training facilities are good ,also the infrastruture(cuildings etc).You can proudly show your DCs to any clients without any hesitation.Hope they are BEST in indian IT companies

Cons

High varibale payout(60% of your CTC for PMs),Distance from city(4 hrs travel time from your locationlity),Unemployee friendly policies,No sick leaves(what else loss of pay ),Promotion Guidelines(Internal certifications are mandatory,even though they don't have any value once you leave the comapny)

Pros

ESOPs, Onsite oppurtunities where you can save lots of money. It is a nice place to travel around the world for long term oppurtunities. The top management is very good and ethical people. The company has very good employee policies and they respect the employees a lot. Ofcourse, there are some crap which has creeped in and that needs some cleaning from the management. It is a great organisation to work for as a whole. When you go out of the country, you are recongnised as a very good person since the company has put a good base accross the world.,

Cons

No good work. Working offshore is highly pressurised and lots of dirty politics.
