Pros

Best culture of any Tech company I've ever worked at

Cons

'Lean Startup' based product development philosophy (A|B test - driven development) works well in many ways but often results in products losing cohesion in terms of design and vision. Emphasis on short-term impact in performance evaluations creates a strong disincentive to prioritize important work that takes more than a quarter to show value.

Pros

Decent pay overall, unlimited PTO, great benefits.

Cons

all new management in the Scottsdale office. This company used to be great, as soon as the previous senior director left for a new company things went down hill fast. Culture is at a all time low with top reps and directors leaving left and right. Low base salary.

Thanks for leaving a review of your work experience in our Scottsdale office. We’ve read a number of reviews from Account Executives based in Scottsdale and have escalated them to the Sales Leadership team as low morale is not conducive to a growing sales team. We encourage you to hold us accountable by leaving a follow-up review if things are changing for the better or if you are still seeing the same issues as before. Only with feedback such as yours can we continue to improve. If you have any additional feedback that you would like to share in complete confidence, please send us an email as inside@indeed.com and we will pass it along to the HRBPs and Sales Leadership.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review of your work experience in our Toronto office. We read all reviews and are disheartened to read that you felt that the Indeed workplace was not inclusive. Our perks such as lunches, snacks/drinks and of course the Open PTO are in place to provide employees with the resources they need to effectively work throughout the day, but mean very little if the work environment itself is not inclusive. We are deeply committed to creating a workplace and global community where inclusion is not only valued, but prioritized. To that end, our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging team and our Inclusion Resource Groups (IRGs) are available to all Indeedians to support broader discussions on challenges and solutions that people may face while in the office. We also offer courses on topics such as Unconscious Bias, Emotional Intelligence, and Ally Skills to help ensure our employees are trained on how to create an inclusive culture at Indeed. Most recently, Inclusion and Belonging were embedded as company values, so we expect to see an even deeper focus on these topics over the coming year. Pay is competitive, once you factor the total compensation including quarterly bonuses and LTIPs that are provided to all full-time employees. FT employees also have access to a generous Learning & Development budget, along with a variety of internal L&D classes. If you have any additional feedback regarding your experience of a non-inclusive nature, please do send us a confidential email to inside@indeed.com so we can review the situation.
