Pros

I love Indeed and will cherish my memories there forever. Thank you, Foster City Indeed for being the launch-pad to my sales career. I met some of the best friends I'll ever have; several of them will be close to me until In die. One of them is my spouse! Best WLB in the game. "Do not work after hours if you're hourly" haha loved that. Miss it now. Great comp when you're hitting or near goal. I was clearing $185,000 with ease Great colleagues, good CEO, good products Indeed innovates always, this is great. There are always more products to sell and ways to capture an audience.

Cons

1.) Limited growth. I stagnated often. Going remote during covid was what helped me launch more as a salesperson, just by getting out of the office. 2.) The layoffs this year - Why, Indeed? You know the cost to hire as well as the value of each human there. Why did you so recklessly over-hire? I get it, you're beholden to execs in Japan however these layoffs should never have happened. 3.) Team Lead role in sales - it's inefficient. Hire leaders and hire salespeople. Team-leading is a poor choice. PAY salespeople to train new hires and spiff them for deals they help bring in. 4.) Offer tenured salespeople more flexibility. I was a star performer in your org and saw myself as a leader there one day. You lost me because I now live too far to commute weekly to the office. Yes, two days is realistic given the new world we're in, kudos. However I had more to give and this was largely my reason for leaving, 5.) Adopting new products is excellent but cannibalizing existing business to push a new model is a nightmare. If a client likes CPC, why force them to use CPA? I understand that they will not always know what is best but sometimes, they know what they want. Give them options, don't push them into a corner.

Pros

Very nice co-workers who are consistently considerate and thoughtful of others. Most people who work there truly care about the mission of helping people get jobs. Some beneficial practices adopted during COVID ("You" day off once a month, widely remote workplace) provide space and generally lower stress. Very hard-working sales and client success teams continue to grind out results despite obvious headwinds, and it's very impressive. Offices and team members around the world so it is fun to work with and learn about people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.

Cons

It can be difficult to get things done because it's not uncommon to encounter a "the problem is too big to solve" or "that's the way we've always done it" mentality -- although this continues to improve over time and as new perspectives are introduced. The senior leadership appear to be smart people with individual ideas and agendas that change frequently, which can make it feel like there's an evolving short-term plan but no true long-term plan. The organization would really benefit from the leadership team visibly working together and focusing the company on what's important. Also, there can be an intense focus on the competition sometimes when it might be better to just focus on how to do things better for employers and job seekers.
