1. Finding projects can be abit tough because everybody has to clear 2-3 technical rounds even after getting in IBM 2. Promotions might take time if you don't meet the KPI's/metrics

It's a great place to build your career along with work-life balance. Great learning opportunities and IBM has many products as well if you are looking to work in a product base org and in terms of service it has many opportunities as IBM is associated with all the top-level sectors as well as organization globally. Innovation and thinking are two important parameters here.

Cons

I don't see anything yet apart from cafeteria issue in my Kolkata (India) location! After 7:30 pm IST cafeteria service gets closed and no automatic coffee vending machine in my work location. This issue is not present in other cities, at least I haven't seen in Bangalore location.
