they were the only A&E firm hiring at the time.

Cons

poor communication from top down. Associates only look out for themselves, do not expect them to train young professional staff. most of them are senior techies, they do not have much love for young professionals. top brass seems to condone this kind of environment. the one i have to deal with is particularly frustrating, doesnt listen and condescending in his speech.

Relaxed atmosphere, great co-workers to work along with, directors are easy to access and communicate with.

Cons

Possibly long hours are needed, which are project-based. But this could happen at any company really...

Pros

Variety of work...flexibility to choose how you want to do your work...3 weeks vacation to start...working a 37.5 hour week. If you have something you need to do on a given day, you can generally get permission to do it, and just make up the time later.

Cons

Work - personal life balance could be tough at times. More potential for professional growth and profit sharing would be nice.
