Pros

Free food, free booze, young crowd, after hours fun, beautiful people, smart co-workers, hard workers

Cons

Long hours (recruiters will tell you 8:30-5 but most BDRs arrive around 7:30am and leave no earlier than 6:30pm just so that they can go home and source leads from the comfort of their own home AKA work more hours), impossible quotas, micro managers tell you word for word what to say on calls while listening in

Pros

The work environment at HubSpot is like no other I have experienced before or seen since. The company has a pulse unto it's own, with a constant drive toward success. In fact the #1 reason to work at HubSpot is to experience first hand an executive team with a near flawless execution of creating one of the fastest growing companies and take it public. HubSpot was also one of the more transparent companies I have known. Management did a great job of sharing the goals of the company and was extremely successful making sure the employees were aware of what they needed to do to help achieve those goals.

Cons

With a company so driven toward success, it became apparent that the numbers were more important than the people. So in order to succeed at HubSpot you must constantly succeed or live in fear that you will soon be replaced. So don't even consider working at HubSpot if you arent up for the challenge...
