Pros

Some of the best reasons to work at Hubspot are the people. Good perks, unlimited vaca time, and flexible hours. They expect you to complete your job: not a lot of micro-managing, which is a plus for those with a high work ethic.

Cons

I'm not sure what I didn't like about this place. Good culture and good management. Sometimes, you were expected to perform tasks out of your jobdescription

Pros

fantastic people, fun atmosphere, everyone works hard, very flexible with vacation and children, easy to work from home. I look forward to being at work every day without fail.

Cons

People can whine about things here and there, especially younger folks who have never worked anywhere else. There really are no cons in my opinion that are even worth my time to mention

We love long-time HubSpot employees, and most importantly, I love that you are excited to go to work every day--I'm still as excited to come to work today as I was when I started three years ago. Regarding folks in first jobs, one of the things we are considering doing is having people share their experiences (both alums and current employees who have worked elsewhere before) on how HubSpot is different and considerations to be mindful of there, so I welcome your input on how we could do that creatively and in a way that's helpful for folks. Thanks for the thoughtful review! -Katie Burke

Pros

The company does a great job giving employees a ton of autonomy at an early point of their careers. The vision of transforming how companies attract, engage and delight customers makes it exciting to come to work every day. Also the culture code isn't just a marketing document, people live and breathe it every day.

Cons

Not a negative for me but you really need to be passionate about what you do as this is not a 9-5 type of place. The company treats you like an adult, so you work where and when you want as long as you get your job done and then you get to take advantage of unlimited vacation.

I love the idea that there's real magic here, and that you feel like people here live and breathe the culture code--I agree, I feel lucky here every day. If you have ideas on how we can help folks navigate work-life fit (so that as you said they can enjoy unlimited vacation in a meaningful way), would love your input--thank you for all that you do every day to make HubSpot a great place to work. -Katie Burke
