      Large diverse company, huge variations in culture.

      Pros

      Large global company. Potential for global opportunities. There are a lot of good, skilled people. Written policies are good.

      Cons

      Age descrimination. Culture tends to be up and out. Metrics focus on department performance, not overall value chain. Short-term focus. Most out-sourcing efforts have been overall negative to the company. Too much yo-yo hiring.

      Pros

      Great compensation and benefits compared to other companies in the same industry. Allows a variable work schedule to help balance work and life.

      Cons

      Honeywell doesn't allow much freedom with work. Raises are small. 401k plan could be better.

      Great products and technology; good focus on what needs to be done to grow the company from a technology standpoint; good teamwork with plenty of history and knowledge on products and customers, good customer base and opportunities to grow the business;

      Cons

      No deep/true emphasis on people personal development - instead of thinking of people as disposable, need to grow them and find the best role for their skills; completely lost the sense of customer satisfaction and focuses on short term results, disregarding long term partnership. Lack of management continuity to have a sustainable personal relation with key customers... this will cost the company with many large or growing customers
