Pros

Honeywell provides it's employees with a great benefits package, including health, dental, and a vision plan. They also match 50% of 401(k) contributions, which changes to 100% after 5 years. Honeywell provides regularly scheduled reviews, which help you know where you are standing within your department, and how you can improve. While I mention it as a downside as well, due to Honeywell's size, there are many, many opportunities for advancements and career path changes. You have the opportunity to do pretty much any job role you want, if you work hard enough.

Cons

Honeywell is a massive company, and it can be frustrating to accomplish seemingly simple tasks due to the trail of red tape and procedures that need to be followed. There can also disparity between treatment for different band level employees.

Pros

Large global company. Potential for global opportunities. There are a lot of good, skilled people. Written policies are good.

Cons

Age descrimination. Culture tends to be up and out. Metrics focus on department performance, not overall value chain. Short-term focus. Most out-sourcing efforts have been overall negative to the company. Too much yo-yo hiring.
