Pros

There's lots of passion in this company. And with a expansion plan across the UK and Europe, lots of room for growth and promotion, across Homesense and TKMaxx.

Cons

The Off Price retail model can be difficult for 'high-street' retailers to pick up. Forget everything you've learnt, and embrace the logic of it!

Pros

Great work environment, friendly and respectful staff, straight forward work, and some departments of the store are easier to work than others

Cons

As with any job you have to multitask (cashier duties, recovery, inventory, displays, cleaning and organizing, etc. all at once) throughout your shift which becomes difficult to do in some of the busier and messier departments of the store which can become especially taxing when managers give you a different job to do every few minutes without letting you completing the first one.

Pros

Great customers, clean store, parking, good selection of merchandise, busy place, incentives like the joy board, having draws and incentives for LP.

Cons

Terrible pay for minimum wage. They work us like dogs. The supervisors of each dept. leave all the hard work up to the part time employees. Make you lift things that should be carted out to save on your back. Don't really listen to what you enjoy doing it's what they want you to do. Ignore requests to change areas. Dress code is not very tight. Wearing leggings and jean jackets should be removed. 10% discount sucks, staff doesn't have own washroom and the air conditioning doesn't work
