Disappointing for a successful company

Pros

A growing company. Flexible scheduling.

Cons

Don't like how my hours would continually change based on certain variables. Need those scheduled hours to pay my bills and make plans by. Too much favoritism by management. HR is nonexistent. Starting pay stinks.

Pros

Job is fairly easy once you get it, hours are decent, and benefits for full-timers are good. Also, not having to work Easter, or Christmas was nice as the store was closed.

Cons

Getting promoted is a lengthy process, the full time staff in most locations hold on to their position for dear life. Management does not do a good job of following up with people who don't do their job well or don't follow rules but will punish those who constantly do well in an effort to "make an example". Also the fact that full time employees are required to have open availability is ridiculous mostly because you're only giving a minimum of 30 hours and it barely goes up from there. If they need to be flexible the company should at least give 40 hours clean.
