Pros

The coworkers were nice, but we were all in the same awful situation employed by an awful multimillion dollar company.

Cons

They were supposed to call me to schedule a training day after I was hired and they never did. I had to look up the store number and call for myself only to be given a half-assed schedule and when I came in on my first day none of the managers knew where to put me so I ended up in the backroom which lemme tell ya..... is INCREDIBLY taxing labor. Being paid such a small amount for such physical labor is ridiculous!!!! I soon found out that being in the backroom was going to be my primary position even though I specifically requested in the interview that I NOT be put in the backroom. I wasn't given register training until the third day I worked (which is what I said I wanted to do so it was strange I wasn't trained there immediately... but obviously it's bc they wanted me in the backroom), and they put me on during a VERY busy Saturday and I was sort of thrown into it with barely any knowledge and was left alone on my first day after about an hour. Later that day I found out I should have taken a "simulation course" before being placed on the register, so yet again something that was management's fault. On top of that, there was a day I had to take off and they told me they would move the hours and figure it out later. The next day I was not initially placed on the schedule and I had checked the printed schedule on the back of the 'associates only' door (the only way to figure out your schedule, unless they call you. Which i think is an incredibly flawed system for a place where hours are constantly changed) and it still said I didn't work the next day and no one had called me to update me on absolutely anything. I ended up calling the store later for other reasons only to be met with a snarky attitude about why I hadn't come in that day. I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN. So that's already however many marks against me... when I wasn't even trying to be a bad employee. I quit shortly thereafter.
