      Very close management of workforce

      Cons

      Politics are all over the place. All the high postions are filled with former consultants or INSEAD MBA graduates. Company itself seems admitting these 'Cronyism'. Span of work is very much limited to direct marketing, which eats the business up year by year.

      Hilti is committed to everyone's developement - With a strong corporate culture built on 4 values of Integrity, Teamwork, Courage and Commitment all of the employees live the culture. You are never hired for the current job: you are hired for the potential of a future one.

      Cons

      Being a european company, majority of the headquarter teams are unable to appreciate the diversity and management of business outside of their country. Often there is a promise of development but finally the management of certain functions is very autocratic in nature which means you could easier be put aside arbitrarily. Decision-making on higher levels takes far too long in any topic and requires an avalanche of calls, powerpoints, meetings and discussions.
