      Great product, super team

      Pros

      I was working in the LastPass engineering team, and everyone was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. There are challenges of course, but everyone is aware of them and works toward solving them. The work environment is very relaxed with the usual perks of an American IT company: free fruits and soft drinks, weekly breakfast, monthly lunch, monthly drinking event (free 🍺), XBox, table tennis etc.

      Cons

      Business decisions are made based on business reasons (e.g. to sunset or not a product) which is sometimes hard to accept as an engineer.

      Pros

      - Great colleagues, great team members. - Lots of benefits. - Travels. - Trainings.

      Cons

      - Citrix merger: all employees got 2-3x more products on their hands for the same money and time. Everyone is exhausted. - Legacy products: hell. No vision, no nothing. They see them as cash cows. - Everyone is thinking: a) I'll wait for the stocks to kick in then go somewhere else b) I'll don't wait for the stocks, because I get more money per month than here with the stocks combined. c) I'll wait until everything collapses. - Opinions can get you fired. - No career opportunities. - Company growth is a lie: numbers are better, mood is way worse, long term vision doesn't exist or not transparent. - No transparency about decisions. We don't know what we will work on the next few months. - RSUs are not sexy anymore as they drop in value. - No exit interview for leavers. - Lot of Senior+ colleagues leave, and they hire juniors to their place. As we see they don't want to retain employees anymore. - Salary is mediocore at best. Know some people who went with +50% for other companies.

      Pros

      I like to work with my team where we support and inspire each other. This is a very safe and fun environment, good vibes in the office, we have all the software and hardware we need. Benefits are the usuals, team drinking, breakfast, lunch, events, etc..

      Cons

      Referral fees could be raised, my previous company had higher amount.
