Pros

Everyones ideas are heard and considered here. If you have the tenacity, you can initiate and improve procedures and organization. Beautiful location.

Cons

Company seems to be faced with a crisis of resources. Many new (and old) initiatives are overwhelming current capacity...resulting in frustration and burnout and increasing turnover. Old issues not being attended to while business rolls on and management is continually forced to make due. Comparing to other younger (and older?) companies where the CEO or GM is there day-to-day with the departments, communicating vision and actually supporting the team from the ground up, this company is currently a ship with no rudder.

Pros

Overall, a company that means well. Started as a small business with good core values, and has tried to maintain those as it grows. Lots of long-time (20+ years) employees, a stable company, and a market leader with rapid growth. Good with providing training and lots of opportunities for internal promotions.

Cons

Compensation not on par with industry averages, and a few "roadblocks" in middle management. Some managers are better than others, but some fail to recognize or work to retain and/or reward talent.

Great Potential, Poor Management

Pros

Great place for new quality and manufacturing engineers to learn the ropes. Lots of work and projects available. Opportunities to learn how to use SAP.

Cons

Poor management of resources. Much of the work is coordinated using crisis-time management, because project management principles are never fully implemented. Low morale due to lack of regularly scheduled performance reviews, hence employees do not know where they stand. Unwillingness by management to provide financial incentives like bonuses. Raises are hard to come by, and when they do happen, are not commensurate with market standards. Big focus on Lean Manufacturing and 5S, but at the expense of projects that could more fully contribute to revenue. Training is done, IF there is time; otherwise, you're on your own.
