Too many to easily catalog. Fluor is a company that is so dreadfully mismanaged that they manage to lose money on maintaining military bases -- contracts that should be a veritable license to print money.
As a result, they will constantly shortchange you on every promise that they make to you: Work all weekend on the promise of overtime? Well, our workweek starts on Saturday and the laws Where We Do Our Payroll say that these twelve hours only count for straight time...look forward to waiting three months to see your money as they 'sort it all out'. Move clear across the country to work for them? Well, you can look forward to a four month long battle to get your moving expenses reimbursed (the ones they told you they'd reimburse IN WRITING) because Somebody behind a desk Somewhere decides you don't get your moving expenses reimbursed.
Oh, and forget about tuition reimbursement...I actually had a conversation with another department's boss where Fluor was denying his training expenses because the receipt the school gave him via email didn't have the school's logo on it. Of course, they don't mention that when you're peeling off your own money to take classes.
Bottom line: Steer clear -- Fluor isn't a place for professional people. They will not treat you fairly.
