Pros

They will hire anyone desperate for a job they believe they can take advantage of.

Cons

Too many to list ! Here are a few: They call themselves a Christian organization however I am a believer who can tell you first-hand that the only thing they believe in is the almight dollar bill. They do not care how hard you work because they will steal from you when you have earned your bonuses and then lie to your face every time with one excuse or another. There are many managers in this organization that do not know how to manage their team as well as themselves. They are the most unprofessional group of people I have ever known in my professional career. It is well know in this community exactly what transpires in this organization and it is very embarrassing to this community. They should all be ashamed of themselves and more ashamed to say they are a Christian Company. They believe that if you dress professional enough that people are dumb enough to believe that you will believe every word coming out of their deceitful mouths. Karma is real, so is GOD......knowing those two things give me comfort. Express has never nor will they ever promote those who earned a promotion, only those who are willing to lie and manipulate others.

Pros

For the most part the leadership team is dynamic. The company has a good benefits package, including quarterly profit sharing. Numerous training and opportunities for personal and professional development exist; good wellness program.

Cons

Antiquated and rigid views of professional dress, i.e. men must wear suits and ties and no facial hair, women must wear skirt suits (no pants) with pantyhose and close-toed shoes. Use PTO instead of vacation/personal days/sick leave, so employees feel punished for being sick. Most incentives are for the sales teams, not the corporate support staff. No specific time of year designated for determinations on salary increases.
