Pros

Get to drive nice cars Good progression system

Cons

For your own sake consider before applying- As promising as it seems, there's more cons than pros. 1) Be expected to work really long hours, it is very rare you get to go home at 5:00, you cannot leave until the day's admin is fully complete. 2) HR makes you do a trust-pilot review 1 week after joining to boost their ratings- (this is why there are so many 5 star and 1-2 star reviews) 3) Say goodbye to your phone gallery- your phone is your biggest asset on the job. You will be inundated with vehicle reg's from all over the fleet (at least 10 a day), sure you can delete it but its effort on a daily basis 4) After 6 months, you will be moved to a new location without your choice 5) You will see the dark side of the company within a few months. The pure corruption of managers just to seek profits. For example, my manager rented a customer a car which had a brake-light warning, purely because it was a high profit deal. They do not care about morals, just money. 6) Expect stress- As a starter you will be ok but as you progress you will experience the stress you get from seniors to boost your ratings and they will give you minimal help possible. I have seen assistant managers leave their jobs due to the extreme stress they get 7) Your degree will not help you in any way possible- in reality it is a basic business management job. So its only beneficial if you have absolutely nothing else going on for you 8) As a starter, your salary will be £1.6k (if outside London), the bonuses are very limited unless you hit ELITE (which is the top 20 people with the highest sales in a certain area (i.e Bristol- Swansea) 9) You will be expected to clean cars. 10) Your manager will define 50% of your experience. If you have a decent manager, you will progress. If you have someone who cant be arsed, you wont learn anything. That being said if you still want to apply go for it, but you will get a very limited scope of knowledge but you will get alot of stress, limited hours of sleep and little pay. See the breakdown of the following pay scheme: Management trainee ( starter): £1.6k p/m Management assistant (1-2 years experience): £1.8k p/m Assistant Manager (+2-3 years experience): £2.1k p/m Manager: £2.5k p/m

Pros

Driving nice cars?? I guess??

Cons

Have to cater to the customers even if they’re completely wrong so you can try to get a 5 star review from them which enterprise does not even send to every customer. Customer base was horrible. Washing cars in dress clothes is a complete joke. The promotions are laughable. Oh did I mention when you get promoted to an assistant manager and a customer damages a car it comes out of your commission ? Because you’re “learning how to run a business”. They also try to sell the people who are good at their jobs on working the airport with terrible hours and no regular schedule, no thanks. You’re also promoted based on how much of their crappy insurance you sell to customers. They love to rip off insurance customers and tell them they’re responsible for sales tax which is completely not true, the insurance company covers the sales tax as well but they try to put you in the largest vehicle possible depending on how much your insurance gives you for your car therefore making that customer responsible for sales tax.

Pros

They present a clear track to management

Cons

Extremely long hours / 70 hours per week They take advance of young people to get them to work ridiculous hours for a small salary in comparison The workplace is really dirty 30 minute lunch for a 12 hour day It’s called ‘Graduate Management Trainee’ but you don’t need a degree to do this job The training week is just brain washing you into thinking the company is good I was told no sick days are allowed even if you are ill Falsely led job avert, it’s just customer service and sales
