Pros

Good bonus Relaxed work culture with a good work/life balance Focus on playing at work Good health benefits Discounts on LEGO

Cons

The CPH Office is down-prioritized. It's clear that the owner family was hesitant with opening the office in CPH as they want people to come to Billund and work. If employees at the Billund office want to transfer to Copenhagen office, they are told to resign and apply for the jobs in Copenhagen. Whenever CPH employees and BLL employees want to visit each other, the travel costs and expenses are taken from the departments' social budgets. This restricts the amount of travel allowed between the two places. The salary is lower than the market in CPH. It seems they are afraid of creating too big a gap between BLL salaries and CPH salaries to make it more attractive to work in CPH than in BLL. You have to fight for an increase in your salary, and it has to be accepted by two levels of management, and these are managers who don't know anything about you or the work you do. If you are lucky, you have a good manager who will fight the case for you. Little growth opportunities. They have been busy hiring in CPH that a lot of the managers have lost track and overview of which teams and roles are available in CPH. This makes it difficult to figure out where you could transfer if you want to try something new. Furthermore, it seems that a lot of roles and positions are still kept in BLL so you would have to move to Billund if you want to switch roles. Again, Billund is prioritized higher than CPH. As you see in many other companies, it's the same here regarding many managers and promotions. It's about being good at talking and keeping the conversations going instead of being skilled and knowledgeable. Forcing 3 days in office, but not enough seats for everyone. They have scaled too fast and not been able to expand the office space fast enough. People who meet after 9 a.m. struggle to find seats near the colleagues they work with. This scaling has also resulted in not having enough lockers for people to put their things so some people have to suffice without it, and others share with other team members.
