      Pros

      4/10 working hours. every other Friday off. All the resources you need for your jobs are available such as standards, CADD programs, access to internet, annual merit salary increases

      Cons

      Since Power is quite down right now and the only profitable power business is mostly retrofit, the unit I am in is quiet new in this field, so we have a hard time getting new business and they have to let people go. But if you are lucky, since it is a big company, you could work out a transfer if they have available opening (petrochem)

      Good people, easy to work with. Good pay. Great benefits. Job security for people who are willing to stick around, and do a good job.

      Cons

      Doesn’t pay quite as much as some north slope jobs.

      Great to get more experience in different areas

      Cons

      Completely project based. They don’t let you change on overhead even for 1 hr. It means if you can’t change on the project, they don’t pay you. So many people are full time but they don’t receive the full salary. No one tells you that when they want to hire you. There is no work/life balance
