Pros

TJ Maxx is a great place to work if you have no background in Retail and want to get your experience level up. They also pay you weekly instead of Bi-Weekly

Cons

They schedule horrible hours, usually less than 15 a week per associate, and work shifts are usually 3-4 hours, so you will probably have to work 5 days a week just to complete 15 hours.

Pros

Good pay and flexible hours

Cons

The workplace culture felt highly driven by informalities, which often made it difficult to resolve issues professionally. Management responses to workplace concerns often felt inconsistent, and similar incidents appeared to be handled differently depending on the individuals involved. Employee morale appeared low, and turnover seemed higher than expected during my time there. Lack of support during peak periods and backroom inefficiencies. The work environment felt unsustainable due to unresolved management issues, communication breakdowns, and inconsistent handling of workplace conflicts.
