Pros

-Great Benefits (Healthcare, 401k, etc.) -Sustainable and competitive business model for brick and mortar Storefronts -Opportunity to make creative displays -First dibs on the best products

Cons

-Lots of physical labor (I was averaging 30,000 steps a day) -poor work/life balance due to scheduling (not even the store manager has a good schedule) -Exposure to chaotic customers/crime rings/coworkers -Weirdly elitist higher up the food chain. -Bonus structure for managers doesn't match the accountability imposed on them. -Credit Card sales perks don't match the effort put into them. -Since it's a floating department space depending on inventory levels, fixtures should be designed to be more mobile and usable. The heavy wooden shelves don't make sense if you have to adjust on a daily basis.

Pros

nice break room, lovely employees and supervisors so far!

Cons

barely any hours for anyone, corporate is shady. lied about hiring (they put out a hiring table with business cards even though our store was NOT hiring and our employees were barely getting any work) and they are anti-union
