Pros

Company does have great benefits and is considerably generous with vacation time.

Cons

Salaries tend to be on the very low side in comparison with similar businesses and positions. As a long time employee, there is little incentive to stay as vacation time stops increasing at 9 years for several years, raises are unimpressive, and morale is fairly poor. Also, many departments are very disorganized with lack of communication and inconsistency amongst processes, which leads to high turnover from exceptional emploees and a tendency to hire inexperienced management.

Pros

Sun Life provides competitive benefits, remote work opportunities, and the chance to work alongside knowledgeable professionals. The company offers strong learning opportunities within the disability and leave management space.

Cons

Staffing reductions and increasing workloads have made it difficult for some teams to maintain service levels while preserving employee well-being. Leadership communication and support can vary by department.
